Go to: 2004 AFA/AEF Teacher of the Year letter 2004 Teacher of the Year application A committee consisting of the AEF Vice-President and the three chapter AEF VPs shall comprise the T0Y selection committee. In January they shall make available to all eligible teachers in the state the necessary guidance so that eligible teachers can contend Deadline for consideration: No

Feel free to include relevant additional items not listed. Listed documentation will help ensure evenly matched competition, but we do not want to unduly restrict your entry. A group that includes Utah classroom aerospace education teachers will evaluate application packages. Please complete as applicable: - Your professional development.- Your teaching philosophy in brief. - (Critical Item) How do you instill interest in aerospace and support classroom connections to our nation's need for qualified individuals in aerospace careers (e.g., curricula, activities, etc)? How much of your total instructional effort integrates aerospace education-related teaching? - Academic research into aerospace education classroom connections/ integration. - Honors and Awards received. - Relevant civic service accomplishments. - Aerospace-related hobbies. - Recommendations from students, colleagues, community and/or business leaders. Letters from former students resulting from your influence on their success in any aerospace-related field of endeavor. - Community aerospace education outreach efforts.
